Most hotels are located near Matsue JR station.
If you reach to Izumo Airport or Yonago Airport, you can take airport limousine bus from the airport to the station.
Conference Venue is Kunibiki Messe. It takes about 10 minutes on foot from the station.
All sessions will be held at the Small Hall in the first floor of the Messe.
Registration at Kunibiki Messe
Registration Desk will be placed in front of the Small Hall of Kunibiki Messe. Registration Desk will open before the reception from 5pm to 6pm on the 8th (Sun.), and from 8:30am on the 9th (Mon.). When opening session begins, Registration Desk will be set near the entrance inside of the conference room. You can get all conference materials at the desk.
At the registration, you will be asked about the length of your stay in Shimane prefecture. This is really important, because the subsidy from the local government is calculated based on the total number of the nights of stay by the participants (and their spouse and/or companions) of the conference.
Reception will be held at Restaurant Pomodolo located at the first floor of Kunibiki Messe from 6pm to 8pm on the 8th. This reception is included in the registration fee.
Banquet will be held at Japanese Restaurant of Yushien Garden, which is located about 30 minutes away from the conference venue. Bus will leave Kunibiki Messe for Yushien Garden at 5pm after the business meeting.
This banquet is included in the registration fee, but is limited to the participants who booked it beforehand. Ticket will be provided at the registration desk with conference materials.
Bus pick up is as follows;
8:45 Ohashikan (meet at the lobby)
8:45 Tokyu Inn (meet at the lobby)
9:00 Kunibiki Messe (meet at the main entrance)
We will visit some touristic spots of Matsue city in the morning, which include Matsue Castle, Canal Cruise and Matsue History Museum. Lunch will be served at the Japanese restaurant by the lakeside. In the afternoon, we will take you to Adachi Museum and old shrine(s). Adachi Museum is very famous for its beautiful Japanese garden. We will visit Kamosu Shrine which is very historical shrines in Japan. If we have time, we will visit Yaegaki Shrine.
Bus for the participants who did not book a dinner on the day will come back to the Kunibiki Messe and Matsue station around 6pm.
Bus for the participants who bought the dinner ticket for the 11th will go to the restaurant in Matsue English Garden located at the lakeside of Lake Shinji.

Wireless Internet is available at the conference venue.
Refreshments are served near the entrance of the Small Hall during the conference.During the afternoon break, Japanese Sweets (Wagashi) are served.
